After smallville series is there any new superman movie or series coming up ?|||Superman: The Man of Steel (see above) is a Reboot to the Franchise. It is based on the new Superman comic series "Superman: Earth One" by J. Michael Straczynski and Shane Davis. This new Superman will be a fresh take on the character. He's 24 years old, fresh off the bus from Smallville. He has no idea where he's from and has no desire to be a hero like his father wanted. All Clark wants is to find a job to take care of his mother. He applies for the Sharks Football team, helps solve a complex math equation to generate electricity from sea water, he even applies for a job at a Newspaper. As Clark Kent tries to find his place in the world the sky fills with alien spacecraft.
Twenty Years Earlier the planet Krypton was destroyed in an act of war. The last survivor escaped and made his way to Earth. But the one responsible Tyrell has been hunting him ever since. His hunt has lead him to Earth. as it stands there does not appear to be a Superman TV Project-- But I wouldn't be shocked to see a New Animated series in fall of 2012 -- Batman Begins, Ironman and Spider-man all had cartoons come out the same years as the films|||There is a Superman movie scheduled to come out in 2012 called Superman: Man of Steel. It will be directed by Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen, Sucker Punch) and will star Henry Cavill as Superman.
