I'm making dessert tonight for a family get together. I love love love superman icecream. I'm planning on bringing icecream,serve it in individual bowls with a few chocolate chip cookies on the side. Would superman icecream be good with chocolate chip cookies?|||If the superman ice cream you're using is just vanilla with food coloring it would be good with the chocolate chip, but if I were you I would go for soft sugar cookies. They would go better with the other flavors besides vanilla that are in the ice cream (chocolate chip does not always complement fruity flavors), and the white cookie would look better with the colorful ice cream.
Make sure you let people scoop their own ice cream so they don't get more or less than they really want. Set the ice cream container next to the cookies arranged on a nice serving plate. Ask the host if you should bring bowls.|||Not so much since you have a flavor contradiction of fruity vs chocolate, (if the ice cream is sherbet). Instead why not make superman floats?
