What is my Superman comic collection worth?

I have basically every issue from the death of Superman to when he changed his costume and had the electrical powers. I also collected most of the Superboy, Steel, Supergirl, etc from around that time. I have a lot of older Superman comics as well. I have quite a few Spiderman, Xmen, and some other misc comics as well, Just wandering a ballpark for what they would be worth.|||The only "death of Superman" book that's worth anything is Superman 75 1st print, where he actually dies. It's worth maybe $20.

Use http://comicbookrealm.com and http://comicspriceguide.com to look up values.

Use http://www.e-bigs.net/freetool.php to determine grade, which is very important.|||Selling comics is HARD AS HELL!! Most will want to give you 10 cents per book. You won't get much for the "in between" issues, those that aren't a part of a major story. The "Electro Supes" issues aren't worth much either because that was an unpopular move on DC's part..

Your best options would be if you actually knew a comic store owner, one whom you can trust. The other thing you can, and probably should do is to take out off of your special issues and sell them separately. It breaks up the issues but you won't get much if you keep the string whole anyway.

Good luck................|||You description is way too vague.....

even to ballpark it...You would need to list every title and the condition they are in...

and that would be a ballpark...Because owners seem to grade their comics higher than they actually are.|||Check on: http://www.comicspriceguide.com

This should answer all your questions on what they are worth.|||Yeah add a list of every comic you want to sell then ill atleast be able to give you a ball park figure.|||try amazon.com or go to a local comic book shop and have your collection appraised...
