What Marvel comics character would stand the best chance against DC comics Superman in a fight?

We all know that Superman is the flagship character of DC Comics. But, in a one on one fight which Marvel Comics character do you think has the best chance of either beating Superman or at least battling him to a standstill?|||Silver Surfer has the best shot.

|||Gladiator. He has every single one of his powers and is in a way Marvel's superman knock off. Trust me as a comic book fan it's foolish to deny Gladiator and Superman won't have the fight of the century. T|||some how i think your wrong and that batman is the flagship character of dc because well if you have noticed within past 10 years, there have been much more batman movies than superman, and DC stands for detective comics which batman was most known as a detective.|||Silver Surfer, Thanos, Thor, Hulk|||Adam Warlock or sometimes Phoenix.|||Onslaught, Galactus, Hulk etc. etc.
