Who do I ask for permission to make a Batman vs Superman movie?

Hello, I am Vladimir Tod, I love to create movies. One I would like to make is the lively hood of Superman fighting Batman. I was wondering who to ask for copyright to make this. DC comics? Or who? Try mailing them a letter to their New York headquarters.|||i think only if you try to make money off of it or use them as some advertisement
