Can you do Spinning Back Fist and Superman punch in a boxing match ?|||The spinning back fist is a definite no-no in boxing...
But you might get away with a Superman punch in the right circumstance....then again you might not|||No to the spinning backfist, as others have said.
he superman punch, I would imagine you COULD do, as in it isn't against the rules, but you would never get away with it. The superman punch is a move predicated on the assumption you are throwing a kick, then acually switch to a punch. Feint a kick in boxing to throw a punch and you are going to get your face smashed in, regardless of how much Charmin the boxers hand is wrapped in.|||You can do a Super Man Punch in a Boxing match but not a Spinning back Fist because you are only allowed hit with the front knuckles of your fist so any strike with the front of your fist can be used in a boxing match like onerhand, superman punch, cross, hook, shovel hook (uppercut+hook), pivot blow (hitting with the fist) and the smash (uppercut+cross, razor ruddocks fav move) and theres others but there not that effective with gloves on in a boxing match.|||In Western boxing, you're only allowed to hit with the front portion of the glove. Part of the reason for this is that it's the most padded portion of the glove. Backfists and spinning backfists are out; they were banned at roughly the turn of the century. Spinning backfists actually make it easy to hit with the forearm or elbow, even if it's by accident, so there's a good reason for banning them. However, some boxers have backfist-like jabs. Ali, for instance...
There's no rule against a Superman punch, but since those punches are best set up by faking a kick, most boxers could see it coming from a mile away. I don't think it would have a high success rate. BTW, no knockout that I'm aware of has been from a Superman punch. Food for thought.|||no on the spinning back punch, thats crazy anyone with good timing will see that coming and POW! your out.. remember not a lot going on in boxing to be that distracted. and for the superman punch ... well thats kind a grey area only because boxer Prince Hassim was one of the wildest punchers he would kind of leap at his opponenets from different angles but eventually some of the boxers found out how to get his timing down and .. you guessed it he was defeated on the regular... so i hope this helps you out... good luck.|||Spinning backfists and all Backfists are illegal in boxing. They were mainly made illegal because they were considered "sneaky" and "unmanly".
Spinning backfists were known as "pivot blows" or "pivot punches".|||Of course! As a thai boxer i know the spinning back punch is a very impressive move and a good judge would give you 2 points for it! It is one of my favorite moves since it opens up so many places to attack!
