Would it work to defeat Superman by clubbing him with cricket bats containing Kryptonite?

Like if you rounded up a posse and gave them all cricket bats with Kryptonite cores and you went after Superman and called a beatdown. Would that work to defeat him?|||Like...No.





First off, look at who you are dealing with. You are trying to beat up a guy that can move faster than the speed of light, is strong enough to move planets, can blast fire out of his eyes, see through almost anything (that would be a fun power), and can hear cells divide on the other side of the planet. So to even get near him would be tough (I am assuming that your posse is not taking hostages to lure Superman).





If, for argument's sake, you could get near Superman, and attack him with the Kryptonite cored cricket bats, you may be able to hurt him. However, defeat him? Not a chance. You may come close, but in the end he would be able to win. The reason? Simply put, he outclasses you and your posse by a huge margin. It is like a colony of ants attacking a full grown healthy bull Elephant. It would be more of an annoyance than anything.





Granted, with the Kryptonite, you may be able to give him a headache, or a bruise, but he would do something like hitting the ground with his fist, and give out such huge vibrations that it knocks everyone in your posse off your feet, and he then uses his heat vision on your bat, and with that done, he flies off.





No offense meant, but that is how I feel that it would happen, it is debatable, but that is pretty well how it would throw down.|||a possee is a bad idea.... unless ur all just acting natural then u all jump out at him with krypton bats, then maybe.... but theres still the chance that before his strengh is depleted he blows u away (literally, with his breath).... generally ud need a strengh enhancement or physical prowess + kryptonite|||Yes,it drains his powers,you can even just punch him with your fists.


As long as Kryptonite is in close proximity,he's weaker than a normal human and in agonising pain|||No he's DCs golden boy they'd just bring him back to life anyway also all his superhero friends would throw youse guys in jail|||naa mate, Superman would hear you from a mile away nd fly away. Although if you had Lex Leuther on your side, he could make an epic plan and kill him for good muhahahah :D|||HELL YEA BEAT THAT MUTHER SUCKER DOWN HAHA
